Terms and conditions.

1. Scope

These terms and conditions apply to all orders for goods and bookings of carving courses made through the Holzkunst Eder online shop.

Any terms supplied by the customer are not accepted unless their application has been expressly agreed in writing.

2. Conclusion of the contract

The presentation of products and courses in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer.

By completing the checkout process, the customer submits a binding offer to purchase the selected products or book a carving course.

The contract is concluded by order confirmation or dispatch of the goods.

3. Prices

All prices are in euros and include statutory Austrian VAT.

Shipping costs are shown separately during checkout.

4. Payment methods

The following payment methods may be offered:

• Credit card
• Apple Pay
• Google Pay
• EPS
• Klarna
• other payment methods provided through WooCommerce Payments or Stripe

Payments are processed through Stripe or WooCommerce Payments.

5. Delivery

Delivery is available within Austria and to other countries of the European Union.

Delivery times may vary depending on the product and current workload.

The customer will be informed if a product is temporarily unavailable.

6. Retention of title

The goods remain the property of Holzkunst Eder until payment has been made in full.

7. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have the statutory right of withdrawal described in the separate cancellation policy.

The cancellation policy forms part of these terms and conditions.

8. Returns

The customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods.

To conserve resources, please check orders carefully and avoid unnecessary returns.

9. Carving courses

Registration

Registration for carving courses is made through the online shop.

A binding contract is created when the booking is completed.

Deposit

A deposit may be required for carving courses.

The amount of the deposit is stated in the respective course offer.

Remaining payment

Unless otherwise stated, the remaining amount must be paid no later than before the course begins.

Cancellation by the participant

The following conditions apply in the event of cancellation:

• up to 30 days before the course begins: refund of the deposit less a €20 processing fee
• 29 to 14 days before the course begins: 50% of the course fee
• less than 14 days before the course begins: no refund

Participation may, however, be transferred to another person at any time.

Cancellation by the organiser

If a course must be cancelled due to illness, force majeure or insufficient participant numbers, payments already made will be refunded in full.

No further claims exist.

10. Individually made masks

Individually made masks are currently not sold through the online shop.

Enquiries are made directly to Holzkunst Eder.

11. Statutory warranty

The statutory Austrian warranty provisions apply.

Handmade products may differ slightly from product images in form, colour, grain and surface texture.

These variations do not constitute a defect.

12. Liability

Holzkunst Eder is liable for damage only in cases of intent or gross negligence.

This does not apply to damage resulting from injury to life, limb or health, or to claims under mandatory statutory provisions.

13. Copyright

All content on this website, in particular images, texts, logos, videos, designs and course materials, is protected by copyright.

Use without written permission is not permitted.

14. Applicable law

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

15. Severability

Should individual provisions of these terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
